I was wondering if the Trueimage cd boot disk will properly image hard drives connected to a Promise Ultra AtA TX2 100 card since the card uses drivers in windows to work properly. Anybody try this?

I had a set uo like that last year, it worked with TI 6 & 7 without problems. Had to set the BIOS to boot from SCSI. Partitions kept getting corrupted, then I found out that the Promise Ultra tx2 card only supported drives to 128 GB.

So I uninstalled the card and put my drives on the IDE controler. I am going to put a couple of smaller drives on the card tommorow.

    Hello Questioner,

Thank you for your interest in Acronis True Image (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/).

Acronis True Image 8.0 should work properly with the card you described. To be absolutely sure you may download free trial version of Acronis True Image 8.0 from http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/download/trueimage/, create Acronis Bootable CD and see whether all the drives are recognized properly. If you encounter any issues please feel free to contact Acronis Support Team via e-mail support@acronis.com.

    Thank you.
