will hips module still update, if it is disabled?

    Hi, as the title says. Will hips module still update, if it is disabled? I personally feel the new hips module is not mature and don't want to enable it. By the way, is self-defence working, if i disable hips?

    self defense will be disabled if you disable HIPS.
    you will get HIPS update even if you disable it.

    If you disable the SelfDefense, you are exposing your product to be killed more easily.

    Hello,

    Disabled modules should still continue to receive updates.

    Self-defense is a subset of HIPS, so if you disable HIPS than Self-defense is disabled as well.
