Just wondering why the new version of RD requires so many updates. While I am all in favour of improving software and welcome frequent updates for AV or AT definitions, I am a bit irritated that the new version of RD has already required several program updates with subsequent restarts of the pc.
Would it be possible to do that less often and more concentrated?

I am sure that Jason was trying to perhaps clear up some of the issues with the W2K clients that were initially having problems.

Not sure tho, you will have to wait for him to reply. ;)

    Hi beethoven,

The benefit of automatic updating is that I can release new builds a lot earlier and with much less hassle for the end user. If you want to do "concentrated" updates, simply turn off automatic updating and check only once a week, or whenever you want. :)

    Thanks Jason,

I think I will do that.

How different are these individual builds? I suppose they are not like an upgrade from 1.3 to 2?
