why is mozilla trying to act as a server

    zone alarm is displaying a alert that mozilla is trying to access port 1037 is it normal ?

    Yes it's normal.

    It only connects to localhost, 127.0.0.1 IE local ports on your own computer. Just give it full access rights to all ports on 127.0.0.1

    Hi angela988

    As Jack Harper suggested, if the IP address in the alert was for localhost, that is normal.
    You may need to add 127.0.0.1 to your Trusted Zone, then permit Mozilla server rights for Trusted Zone, deny for Internet Zone.

    If it was not for localhost, could you post full details (protocol, ports, IP's).
