why doesn't nod32 update software?

    I paid for a nod32 2 year license recently and I notice that the software does not update itself. There is a new version 4.0 but I was never notified that I could download it and there were newer 3.0 builds released but I was never notified.

    Is this the way the software works? I have to visit the website to find out what is new?

    Only virus database and program modules are updated automatically. Whole program must be upgraded manually. More information you can find in Aryeh's post.

    V3 users will be updated automatically to v. 3.0.684 some time soon.
