Acronis shows 2 sections of unallocated space on the same HD.

One is 200kb and other one seems normal with the rest of the unallocated space (150GB)

    Is this normal?

Welcome to the forum. It would be helpful if you could post a screen shot of what you're seeing. This would provide us with the additional details needed to help you.

Were the partitions created by Vista? If so, the Vista partitioner leaves more space between partitions.

You could use DD to resize the C partition. Expand to the right until the unallocated space between C and D is incorporated into the C partition. You should do this from the boot CD while Vista is shut down.
