Why are some items not blocked, even manually?

Under Protection Status, it says "Partially enabled" and that 63 items (in red) are not blocked for IE. I go to the Blocked items list and check mark the items myself and click "Protect against checked items". The list kind of regenerates itself and just ends up looking the same (63 items unchecked and therefore not being blocked).

    Why is this?

    I included a pic.

    Hi,

Are you trying to enable protection under a limited user account (on Windows XP)?

The Internet Explorer "ActiveX protection" that SpywareBlaster provides is a global, system-wide protection. This means that, unlike most of the rest of the protection, you'll likely have to log in to a user account with Administrator privileges to enable it.

    Best regards,
