Ever wonder what kind of setup the security experts use?
I'd like to know what Ronen Tzur has in his setup...
    that is, besides Sandboxie. ;)

My guess would be, besides Sandboxie:

    Imaging/Recovery software
    Measures built into the OS

Never know though... could be McAfee & XP FW.

I have very serious doubts a person like him would rely on such simple, ineffective things, lol. My bet would be Sandboxie, imaging, some sort of anti-executable and a firewall. He's probably one of those types that can tell malware from legit files just by looking at them.

Charlie Miller. It doesn't matter what the guys who create security products use, the important people are the ones who break them.

You probably already read this interview with Charlie.
It's a bit dated... 3 months old... but well worth a look.

The President of the United States.
No 3rd party software there, I'm betting.

Their Blackberries have been hacked on several occasions. The President himself doesn't have a personal computer that he "surfs the net" on, it's too risky and he really doesn't have the time. Internet access is tightly controlled, and only certain groups of people "surf the net", and for the most part, only for specific purposes. And no, they aren't relying on standard security software :)

I bet a real expert that really knows the OS and how it works probabaly has the OS Locked down so tight with No holes or back doors that they probably dont need third party security apps.
