Frankly, after I die I won't care at all about who owns my data... I mean, even now when I'm alive I can't really control what all companies/service providers are doing with my data, it would be really weird to be concerned about what happens to it after I die. If it's about who can access my data, that is a different thing, people I trust will have the means to do it.

I was about to say exactly this...and unless my data can affect other people, I would not give a damn for sure... :p

The problem is, a lot of times your data can affect others, especially loved ones. That being said, yeah, you really don't have any control over data access anymore while you're breathing, so there's certainly not too much you'll be doing about it when you're 6 feet under a block of granite.
