    This sounds a lot like what one would expect from another hacker group in the last year. A lot of the same activities, defacing, data dumps, etc. I wouldn't be too surprised if this was a splinter of Anonymous under another name.

    There is no evidence the SEA is aligned in any way with Anonymous.

    Apparently a large number of VBulletin forums have been hacked by the Syrian Electronic Army exploiting a recently discovered vulnerability over the past few days.
