I was (un)pleasantly surprised to see th whitelist in Noscript add on for Mozilla in the latest version. This auto allows googleapis and googlesyndication and a few others that I wont like to have. If you have noticed this, is this a new addition, as earlier version always prevented googleapis by default. Is there any thread on Wilders on this or Noscript configs. Kindly point me there. Thanks
I don't see any of those in my white list and not after any update. I don't think those are by there by default.
@avboy Me too I delete ALL of them and manually allow/store only the ones i need/want. I was asked to post my screenies of my securer etc settings fairly recently in a thread. I posted screenies of Every tab etc. I just tried to find it for you, but couldn't ? If you do a search for it and find it, let me know
@avboy Thanks to GlobalForce here'e the post i was looking for to post for you - https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showpost.php?p=1669779&postcount=21
I just did a reset of NoScripts settings. I then exported the white list. Here is what I got. (Does not include the items that are not removable). What websites are in the default whitelist and why?
Thanks everyone for your responses. I am very busy with financial matters and hence could not reply earlier. I had just taken a screen shot today, but realized that Chrisretusn has already posted it. Thats exactly what I wanted to ask. The explanation from the developer is logical from his point of view, but uncomfortable for me. Tomorrow he can add a few more based on his new relationships with others. Good that I found this on time. Finally Thanks to CloneRanger and Globalforce for pointing me to the relevant excellent thread on configuration.
