White List, Anyone?

    The white list rears its ugly head again. The article proposes a body of judges to certify software to the white list.

    I can just see this in action, stuff from Microsoft and Adobe get approved instantly and all the little guys get to wait forever.

    User-controllable white list yes.
    Pre-approved MS-sponsored white list never.

    I don't need vampires with big money dictating what and when should be used. Nor do I buy into rising exponentially...

    Really? What exponent? Such a strong word. Maybe exp(0.000000051*t)? Uh-no. What?
