Needless to say, whenever I see the word "sharing" I get concerned about privacy. Many of the companies, especially the large tech related companies, that might fall under the "critical infrastructure" heading are the very same companies that are working to reduce privacy.

One thing I've been thinking about lately is the potential for a shared name<->IP Address database. I suspect that such may already exist to some extent, but I just have this feeling that something is going to happen that will cause it to be expanded and perfected. Perhaps the cybersecurity angle will be used. Why not do it under the cover of national protection and arrange to get government incentives to do it as well.

Why does every new day in the U.S. feel more and more like prison?
