    I have TI 9.0 and TI 10.0
Reading the manual, the only new feature of TI 10.0 I would like to use, is backup location management.
I would like to use the disk in mobile rack as my backup location.
Does the backup location feature of TI 10.0 work fine?
Does somebody use it with success?
Can I easily do a weekly differential or incremental backup and a full backup every four weeks?
Does TI 10.0 introduce intrusive features (context menu voices in explorer, mail programs, etc.)?
    Every comment would be appreciated.:)

    Thanks in advance.

I use the Managed Backup Locations to handle backups on a daily and semi-daily basis on machine home and machines at work. For me, it was worth the price of the upgrade to ATI10.

I have not personally noticed any 'intrusive features'. I love being able to explore my linux partition backups. It makes it quick and easy to grab a file when I'm in windows. TI 9 wouldn't do that.

Managed Backup Locations is working flawlessly for me, on both internal and external drives. It's the feature I've waited for in TI and I'm delighted with it. No intrusive features that I've seen.

Well, I have installed TI 10.0.
The program looks nice, but I get lots of errors in Application Event Log.
The log of Windows is full of errors with source "Acronis Test Program", category (14) or (38 ) and EventID 1, 3 or 11.
Do I have to do something or is this an expected behavior of TI 10.0?

    Every help should be appreciated.o_O

    Hello GianniC,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

We are sorry for the delayed response.

Please be aware that this issue was already reported by other Acronis customers (check, for example, this previous post) and they have already been forwarded to our Development Team. Moreover, this issue was fixed. The fix will be included into the next build of Acronis True Image 10.0 Home. As soon as the new build will be available for download you will be able to download it from "Product Update" section of your account. I'm sorry, but at the moment the exact time-frame for that is not set yet. Please note that in order to get access to updates you should first register your software.

As for the backup locations, I would recommend that you have a look at this thread <delete inkremental Backups after a defined time>, which contains instruction on how to use backup locations. Also you can find the detailed instructions on how to use Acronis True Image 10.0 Home in the respective User's Guide.

    Thank you.
