which product do i need for this ..

Hi, i need to migrate (the only) one partition of a Windows 2000 server.
This is now located on a SCSI disk, which i almost full.
So now i want to migrate this partition to a IDE disk.
And remove the old scsi disk.

Which product do you recommend for this action, to be certain, that the IDE disk will remain bootable although the partition is migrated to a disk with another type of interface.

Is there a moderator from Acronis that can answer which product i can use for this? Can this be done with True Image Server ??

 

I don't think you neccessarily need the Server version to do this. The electrical interface is of no consequence to the image, apart from whether TI can recognise the drive itself.

If you can have the server off line, and boot from the rescue disk, ordinary TI should do what you require.
