I'm a p2p user (BitTorrent, mIRC, limewire) and was wondering which firewall gives strong protection against inbound traffic (packet filtration). I'm afraid all those random connections to my computer might leave it vulnerable.

    RootAccess, :)

P2P rule(s) open a port on your firewall so you can accept unsolicited TCP (and UDP) inbound connections. The 'strong inbound protection' formula doesn't work here, as with inbound rules you are already accepting something that you didn't asked for. So, any firewall would be sufficient for filesharing, as long as you can forward a port in it.

I would instead suggest that we all post in your other thread that deals with your P2P concerns, but from a different angle, by using some anti-malware for P2P protection...
    :)

    Cheers,
