    Hi,

I'm new to ESET and have one server. I'm pushing installation to my clients in an enterprise network. Problem is the clients are able to open the console and make changes. It's not password protected. I'm trying to find where to do this. I have a cfg.xml file that I configured to update the username and password on the server so they would get updates. I can't for the life of me find where to password protect the client console.

    Thank you,
    Dan

    Hi Danny,

    In the configuration editor,

Expand ESET Smart Security, ESET NOD32 Antivirus > ESET Kernel > Setup > Protect Setup Parameters > Password to unlock

Click on Set Password, make sure to mark the setting, and save your configuration file.

    Regards,

    Jesus
