While surfing I ran across a website where you can *legally* download the last free version of software that no longer is free.

Examples include the last free versions of jv16 Powertools, RegCleaner, PopCorn email client, PowerArchiver, FolderSizes, TxEdit, Tiny Personal Firewall, & several more.

The site has 3 pages. Page 1 is HERE.

The home site for LastFreeWare also has some interesting stuff. URL is...
    http://www.freeware-guide.com/

    Very interesting and useful information!

Sometimes the early freeware versions are as good or better than the later commercial offerings.

Excellent i am going to go over there right now as I want to take a closer look at jv16Power Tools, by Macecraft.
    Excellent Detective work.
I am going to be doing a post on Ace Utilities as I want to find out if members here have used it and what their thoughts are on it.
I am trying to do a comparison of the two and see which is the most user friendly, has the backup ability and can check for duplicate files and as well an ability to go in and search for leftovers from an uninstall.
I am going to do that post here now.

Nice surfing to come up with this one, you must be a water sign!!!!! :-*
