On my XP desktop I've not been able to install v8. I tried M, T and yesterday, sometimes several times/day. I'd get "Sorry Ff must close, yada, yada, yada and could not get rid of the text box or open Ff. I had to keep on doing Comodo Time Machine restores. I just disabled all of my extensions to try again and now it says it's (v7.1) up to date. I re-enabled all my extensions and just to make sure checked again and it is still telling me v7.1 is up to date. Did they pull v8 for XP or something? Thank you!

I know yesterday I tried to update FF on dialup and ran into several problems so I gave up and downloaded it from Filehippo. They could be having server problems.
