Where is the memory dump file in openSUSE?

    So I can shred it when necessary.

    In most linux systems they are placed under the directory
    /var/crash

    You mean a crash dump - if and when kdump is properly configured and memory cores collected?

    Thank you for the replies. "sudo dir /var/crash" shows nothing there.
