where do you put the serial number?

where does the serial number go to activate true image?

 

Normally it is typed in as part of the install and without a serial you can't install Acronis. A box comes up with a place to put the serial and then the program installs. I'm guessing that you have a trial version which doesn't use a serial.

Please note that the trial version of Acronis True Image cannot be activated. You should download the full verison from http://www.acronis.com/support/updates/ in order to install it. To get access to updates you should register your software first at http://www.acronis.com/registration/. Please disable any download managers, internet download/connection boosters, etc. before the download.

So if I install the trial and decide to buy it, can I activate the trial? Or do I have to uninstall, re-download, and reinstall?

You cannot activate the trial version of any Acronis product. After the purchase you should download the full version and install it using the provided serial number.
