The old site at eset.com had a nice list of new writeups that had been published,
but I can't seem to find them on the new one..

    Where are they?

These analysis were always made by Mike (see the signature below).
As you know he's in Frisk Software now... Unless someone else from ESET starts to write these you simply won't see them anymore :p

I could do the write ups:

New Virus; slams your PC if you don't have NOD32, best to format and start again.
New Trojan; slams your PC if you don't have NOD32, best to format and start again.
New Spyware; slams your PC if you don't have NOD32, best to format and start again.
New Trojan via Messenger; slams your PC if you don't have NOD32, ah leave it on for at least a month and then all your friends will thank you, after this best to format and start again after you change your name and address  :D

    :D :D :D

    Hello,

Eset is planning on providing more detailed descriptions of malicious software in the future. Please keep in mind, though, it takes time to recruit and train such personnel, and people who are capable not just of reverse-engineering complicated software (which may utilize all sorts of coding techniques designed to obfuscate and slow down such activities) but also capable of explaining things in a clear and concise fashion are not as common as people who just perform disassembly or technical writing.

    Regards,

    Aryeh Goretsky
