i have a file of pictures that shows in thumbnails, but when i click on some of the thumbnails they show an entirely different piture and the previous picture seems to disappear.

i run adaware and spybot search and destroy regularly, but that hasn't seemed to affect this diappering notebook of pictures. I am really interested in retrieving the missing pictures... HELP!

i don't even know where to go to ask for specific help.... could someone send me in the right direction?

    thanks big!

I'm not understanding your problem comprehensively. Please list the software you are using to view the images, OS version and filenames/filetypes. That info would probably help.

Jasc paint shop photo album, starter edition
    .jpg files

when i put it in 'browse' mode, thumbnails show on the left and the 'clicked' pic shows on the right.

for only some of the pictures- if i click on the thumbnail an entirely unrelated picture shows on the big screen and replaces it on the thumbnail, while the name is unchanged.

one thumbnail even pulls up a wrong pic but doesn't change .... go figger!

i cannot find the 'disappeared' pictures.... but i want them back. G.

dunno what is going on. Would dearly love some help.
