Hi, I'm new here but not to NOD32. I am coming up on my two year anniversary with it and was prompted to renew. I did that and the icon in the toolbar stayed orange instead of the green I expected it to change into.

So, I downloaded NOD32 v 4.0.473, uninstalled my previous version (which was some form of v 4, as well) and then installed the new version. My icon remains orange but, my startup scan with the new software download updated to virus signature database 4408.

I have a feeling that current updates have nothing to do with my expiration date going from 9/23/09 to 9/23/11. Although my post payment email from ESET says 9/23/11, when I go to the gui, click on HELP and VERIFY LICENSE VALIDITY the date that is shown is the previous 9/23/2009 .

I have restarted the computer thinking that this may allow the new subscription to "kick in" and the icon to turn to green. No luck. I've also read in another post here, that it may take 24-48 hours for my renewal to be recognized. I really don't understand why. It's an online transaction no more difficult to process than my payment information (which my credit card company knew about and was posted on my online bill within, literally, seconds of my renewal purchase).

How long should this take and what are my options??

    Thanks

    Hello JDC,

ESET states 24-48 hours for a license to process.

If you have problems, help is here on the forums.

    Hello JDC,

It takes about 24-48 hours for the license to show the updated information. If it still does not update on your end after 48 hours, please let us know so we can try to troubleshoot.
