:) No leftovers for the wildman, remember I have three grandchildren, they will eat you out of the house. Just hope the daughter invites me to lunch some time next week, she may have made turkey soup. Let me put it this way, I hope she makes turkey soup, I hope there is turkey left to make turkey soup, I hope she invites me to lunch for turkey soup. Does anyone get the idea that the wildman likes turkey soup.

Daughter are you reading this post. Dad wants turkey soup.

    Thanks
    wildman

    Here we go.

The predaceous diving beetle, cooked and on a plate. Two dozens of them. The decorations on the rim of the plate were carrots and cucumber.

1st favorite of mine was already noted before- but my 2nd most favorite comes in as such a close 2nd it bears mentioning, perhaps almost as a tie after all:

A delight I found as a child blanketing the mountains of New England and which can be found in similar environs globally- but which is, I hear, not as abundant in the wild as in the past- and certainly not the same commercially grown- plump, delicious

    BLUEBERRIES!!!

;) It don't look so good for my consumption of turkey soup in the near future, but there is always Xmas, unless we have ham. Hey ham and bean soup? Just thinking ahead.

The spouse has a roast thawing out, could be we might be having pot roast for the evening meal, but to early to tell.

I love the different culinary items that you all seem to enjoy, gives me new ideas and suggestions for the spouse to cook. Some times however the spouse just laughs, I wonder what that means.

    Thanks

 Dart weren't no pot roast last night, that be a flank steak. Was good, the spouse marinaded it in the What's this here sauce and then broiled it.

Can't miss for tonight (I think), chicken by any other name is still chicken. I told you some day that women is going to appear with feathers on her. You be correct I think, I just eat what the spouse fixes, and I damn well better like it also. Hey you can't say that I haven't been spouse trained.

    Thanks
    wildman
