I don't know if we can consider it a Security application, but anyway my favorite paid Software is FD ISR, then KIS 6.0

Hi, folks: Although it is not branded as a security app. I think it can shadow most of the security programs. It is DEEP FREEZE. :thumb:

All the apps i've no regrets to have parted cash for:
    KAV
    Boclean
    Cookiepal
    Admuncher
    Ace Utilities
    Prevx1

If I had to choose one then i'd plumb for Admuncher. Makes browsing the net so much more pleasureable. Love it!

No doubt for me it's BOClean: just because it is unreplaceable.

You can choose btw paid and free 'shadowing' programs like DeepFreeze, shadowUser,PowerShadow.
You can choose btw many a firewall...
    The same with antivirus programs.......
Not to mention HIPS: you have SSM paid &Free,ProSecurity paid and free etc.etc.

IMHO since many years in the realm of antitrojans there was only one PAID program worth being paid.......

People usually install different applications if they own more than one computer for the sake of diversity and perhaps curiosity. Security for me is experience gained in the field.

My next computer will have from the very start only 4 Programs that I deem essential and giving you a 360 degrees protection:

    ShadowUser Pro - L'n'S - Nod32- Ad Muncher.

I have others which are doing their job, but I wouldn't buy them again as they are really redundant.
