Whats the latest signature database?

Hello all

I think my nod32 is broken. It hasnt updated its virus signature database for several days now. When I run the update manually it says that my version of NOD is up to date.

Fair enough, but the last update was 12.04.2006 and thats a week ago. Im not sure if this is right.

1.1485 is the version of the signature databse im using.

well ok, it seems my nod32 is broken then because im not able to update anymore. any idea what i could do to fix it?

Well the only thing I can suggest is to make sure you have your update servers set to 'automatic.' If that doesn't work you might have to reinstall NOD.

 

Among the other suggestions given when NOD stops updating are:

1. Were you using the NOD trial and did the trial expire?

2. If you weren't just using the trial version, did your annual license expire in the last week or so?

I was using the trial version but I have bought the commercial version now. Can update again, but was pretty slow. 12 kb/s

I see this topic as closed now. Cannot change title tho.

 

Make sure you uninstalled the trial and re-installed the full version - without doing that, updates will fail, even after inputting your username and password. The full commercial version has to be installed, a trial version doesn't "convert".
