I kind of like it there. It makes the forum feel a little more personal.

That's sure handy around computers -- it's a real time-saver being able to "eyeball" bad disk sectors rather than spending an hour or more on one of those full-media scans. ;)

Yo, you all with the inside jokes?

Was this a spot to say "hi" or some secret club I intruded upon? Hmm?

    Re: new member introductions

Sorry Gal. I guess we were unclear.

Ritaann was just pointing out the new link on the navigation bar near the top of the forum, between "New Posts" and "Open Buddy List" called: "Member Introductions". It's a link to a Poll thread where members answer "Where in the World" they are from.

We used to have a News Bar on the old forum which rotated links to a few different threads, one of which was that Poll. When we switched to vBulletin we lost that. Someone pointed out that it'd be nice to have some link to point the thread out to new visitors. So we added the Member Introductions link up above.

Thanks LWM and Ritaan- Sorry I got a bit pissy but I think was just coming off of reading a typically irritating post by my favorite forum participant and snapped at you all. I appreciate both being clued in now to what was baffling to me, and your kind words of welcome.
    Cheers! :D

Easy to see the confusion........it's called "new member introductions".
Maybe this one should be closed...or redirected?
