    Is there a better program than Belarc Adviser for inventorying a computer?

    I don't know that they are better necessarily but I use (SIW) System Information for Windows and WinAudit. Neither require installation. I have had SIW for quite a while and just started trying WinAudit recently.

    SIW IMO is much faster in retrieving data,i have both but SIW is king.
