  1. Is it adequate protection on its own, I seen the statements of how welll it does work in harmony with other Antiviruses, and Suites.

If you've read a bit, then you know it's a closed beta at the moment

I don't think it's in breach of any closed beta confidentiality to say that's it's a comprehensive product that's definitely adequate on it's own.

    That's a bit premature.
When WRSA is out of beta, this might be the case;) .
At the moment, I would have to say no.

Some features appear to be disabled or not functioning, but I can't comment on these.

Not even sure if the above statement is allowed:D

It is adequate at its own
    a) smart oubound application filtering firewall (PrevX4 heritage)
    b) system core protection (Webroot heritage)
    c) behavioral blocker (Webroot heritage)
    d) advanced heuristics (Prevx3/4 heritage, now even imore granular with PrevX4 alpha features)
    e) webshield (Webroot heritage)
    f) realtime shield with cloud based protection (Prevx3 heritage now with Webroot footprints)
    g) identity shield (Prevx3 heritage, further improvedwith PrevX4)

It got also regrun/blitzbank deep cleaning/personal assistance feature through custom scripts, which will help noobs after infections.

It also has manual 'safe' start capabilities to try out new software (problably a bit over the top for the average user, more for the security enthousiasts), a security feature which can be compared with AppGuard's protection or Spyshelters Restricted mode.

You all know that I only run safe-admin at my own desktop (no AV no third party security), but I have Webroot secure anywhere running on my wife's laptop from the beginning and I am really impressed (so much protection with so little drain on PC resources and so few=no pop-ups)

It is allways uncertain how the market is going respond, but it is the best I have seen so far in terms of protection - user friendliness - resource usage. When you want to spend money on security, then Webroot secure anywhere should be on your top three list.

It offers protection similar to any traditional AV in addition to it provides some valuable tools so that even when you are infested with malware you can remove it. Malware removal is not rocket science but with little bit of knowledge you can do it and, some tools are really good in WRSA. I wished I could have told but have to keep mouth tight zipped:blink: .....:p
