    What song best describes you?

Seeing as we all seem to love music, and in an effort to get to know each other a little better, on a more personal level. What song would you say best describes you? A little verse of the song would be nice. The Artist and Title are a must.

Looking forward to your responses. ;)

    ~~ sings ~~

I hear the cotton woods whispering above...
    Tammy...Tammy...Tammy's in love.
The old hootie owl hootie-hoots to the dove...
    Tammy...Tammy...Tammy's in love.

Does my lover feel, what I feel, when he comes near?
My heart beats so joyfully...you'd think that he could hear.
Wish I knew, if he knew, what I'm dreaming of.
    Tammy...Tammy...Tammy's in love.

    (Debbie Reynolds)

On the day I was born, the nurses all gathered 'round
And they gazed in wide wonder, at the joy they had found
The head nurse spoke up, and she said leave this one alone
She could tell right away, that I was bad to the bone
    Bad to the bone
    Bad to the bone
    B-B-B-B-Bad to the bone
    B-B-B-B-Bad
    B-B-B-B-Bad
    Bad to the bone

The following song's melody and lyrics (reproduced herein for their import to what I'm relating) best describe me, I think, overall... although I thought darn hard about this, and had some close runner ups, including "Alison" of E. Costello, "Desparado" of the Eagles, and "Don't Let It Bring You Down" by my all-time fave soulmate, Neil Y.

How I truly "am" somehow is akin to this piece (and it also happens to be the seminal tune forever immortalized in one of the three films that changed my life when I was a young woman-to-be):

Are you going to Scarborough Fair?
    Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme.
Remember me to one who lives there.
She once was a true love of mine.

Tell her to make me a cambric shirt,
(a hill in the deep forest green)
    Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme;
(tracing of sparrow on snow-crested brown)
Without no seams nor needle work,
(blankets and bedclothes the child of the mountain)
Then she’ll be a true love of mine.
(sleeps unaware of the clarion call)

Tell her to find me an acre of land,
(on the side of a hill a sprinkling of leaves)
    Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme;
(washes the grave with silvery tears)
Between the salt water and the sea strand,
(a soldier cleans and polishes a gun)
Then she’ll be a true love of mine.
(sleeps unaware of the clarion call)

Tell her to reap it with a sickle of leather,
(war bellows blazing in scarlet battalions)
    Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme;
(general order their soldiers to kill)
And gather it all in a bunch of heather,
(and to fight for a cause they’ve long ago forgotten)
Then she’ll be a true love of mine.

Are you going to Scarborough Fair?
    Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme.
Remember me to one who lives there.
She once was a true love of mine.

I'm no stranger to the rain
    Keith Whitley

I'm no stranger to the rain
    I'm a friend of thunder
Friend, is it any wonder lightning strikes me
    I've fought with the devil
    Got down on his level
But I never gave in, so he gave up on me

I'm no stranger to the rain
    I can spot bad weather
And I'm good at finding shelter in a downpour
    I've been sacrificed by brothers
    Crucified by lovers
But through it all I withstood the pain
I'm no stranger to the rain

But when I get that foggy feeling
    When I'm feeling down
If I don't keep my head up, I may drown
But it's hard to keep believing
    I'll even come out even
While the rain beats your hope in the ground
And tonight it's really coming down

I'm no stranger to the rain
    But there'll always be tomorrow
And I'll beg, steal, or borrow a little sunshine
And I'll put this cloud behind me
That's how the Man designed me
To ride the wind and dance in a hurricane
I'm no stranger to the rain

Oh, no, I'm no stranger to the rain

I'm no stranger to the rain
    I'm a friend of thunder
Friend, is it any wonder lightning strikes me
But I'll put this cloud behind me
That's how the Man designed me
To ride the wind and dance in a hurricane
I'm no stranger to the rain

No one knows what it's like
    To be the bad man
    To be the sad man
    Behind blue eyes
    And no one knows
What it's like to be hated
To be fated to telling only lies

    [Chorus:]
But my dreams they aren't as empty
As my conscience seems to be
    I have hours, only lonely
    My love is vengeance
    That's never free

No one knows what its like
    To feel these feelings
Like i do, and i blame you!
No one bites back as hard
    On their anger
None of my pain and woe
    Can show through

    [Chorus]

    Discover l.i.m.p. say it [x4]
No one knows what its like
To be mistreated, to be defeated
    Behind blue eyes
No one knows how to say
That they're sorry and don't worry
    I'm not telling lies

    [Chorus]

No one knows what its like
To be the bad man, to be the sad man
    Behind blue eyes.

    The Treasure - Stephen Stills

    Alone with my guitar
    Living on a mountain
    Far away
    I saw girl
Gypsy woman deepest in the world
When she moved it was a dance
    We hid ourselves
    And I had no chance

For the treasure of the oneness
That like sand becomes a diamond
    Before the wind

And while I changed my strings
    A rocky mountain woman
    Came to town to sing
    Took my heart and ran
    When she bade me follow
    I just took her hand
I began my journey to the east
A country boy searching for my peace

In the treasure of the oneness
That like sand becomes a diamond
    Before the wind

    I sit in deep reflection
    There are no answers
    To my questions
    Where did they go
And which one took my heart
    Which one took my soul
I may never see it clearly there comes another
Now she turns to beckon me with the Devil's key

    The treasure of the oneness
Then becomes sand and lies there naked
    Before the wind
