    Hello.I'm interested in trying windows 7 RC 32 bit but first i would like to know other people experience regarding compatible software.
    I know that officially not many software is compatible but maybe some work.From image/back up programs ,file managers to burning software ,i would like to know what works without problem.A small list of mainstream applications will do
    I'm not interested in security software.
    Thanks

    I've had Win7 RC for a day, and so far everything that was working on my Vista Ultimate is okay after the upgrade (sorry I'm not going to list everything I have). However, Ultimate Defrag 2008 (DiskTrix) had to be uninstalled and reinstalled to work properly, Google Chrome doesn't seem to be able to to record any bookmark, and Ad Muncher doesn't work with Chrome (but it works for Firefox and IE). All in all it is an amazingly successful upgrade, also due to the fact that Vista and Win7 are very similar.

    If anything worth mentioning comes up, I'll certainly post it.

    @c2d,
    why would someone use the vista nvidia drivers when you can use the windows 7 drivers?
    windows 7 has WDDM1.1 so the new drivers are better.

    my list:
    superantispyware
    image for windows
    Karen's replicator
    Opera
    windows live messenger
    winrar 3.51
    Admuncher (older versions failed to install)
    Media monkey
    cant remember what else i tryed atm.
