As title says.. What are some must have programs that you must pay for. I do enjoy the free version of products, and if they offer the same features I will take advantage of so; but I have come to realize that some things you just have to buy.

    I have bought Malwarebytes PRO.

    I use Avira Free
    WinPatrol Free

What are programs you recommend for anonymity and security in 2013, that you can purchase. Keep in mind I would like any suggestion to be a reliable/reputable company with one can presume would be safe to do business with.

    Regards,
    Me

NoVirusThanks EXE Radar Pro (Powerful anti-executable) (Lifetime)
    Sandboxie Paid (Lifetime)
    Shadow Defender (Lifetime)

The above are all top notch products and are all quite powerful and light, I highly recommend those.

I have those in all my setups and they're the best purchase decisions I have ever made.

AX64 Time Machine last free beta version. I'll consider purchasing 2.0, especially if something breaks.
Wondershare LiveBoot 2012 (giveaway). It's useful, but not really worth paying for.
May consider Sandboxie Paid if there's a really good lifetime license deal.

There were other giveaways I'm not currently using. Being a very frugal freeware guy, I don't remember the last time I purchased any software, Windows included (MSDNAA).

Thanks for the replies! I am considering getting a Lifetime Sandboxie; it appears that everyone uses/has it on their setup from reading in these forums.

Keep them coming, I know there are more must have paid programs!

Feel free to also mention what e-mail provider you use; if they are paid, and offer something more then your basic Yahoo/Google email, if you feel comfortable doing so.

edit: Anyone purchase VPN? Or do the free versions offer the same results? I have heard/read some interesting stuff about AirVPN. If anyone can suggest if I buy a VPN or use a free one, it would be greatly appreciated!

    Products I've bought so far:

    Malwarebytes Pro,
    BullGuard Internet Security,
    Bitdefender Internet Security,
    Kaspersky AV,
    Hitman Pro,
    Outpost Firewall Pro (lifetime),
    Kaspersky Mobile Security,
    Trend Micro Titanium AV+
    ESET NOD32

Most of these licences are for 3 or more PCs so I like to share them with my family and friends.

and I never pay full price....I'm on a constant search for good deals and discounts.

Sandboxie is next on my list.

I have Net-Peeker, OA paid, AX64TM, Ad Muncher and Winpatrol pro.
I got a WP life license really cheap. It was probably 5$.
I also have an old Paragon Backup And Restore and Munsoft Data Recovery Suite from giveaways.
This is just my bought security progs.

If you want some anonymity take a look at -http://www.worthofprivacy.com/en-

You can get a year of Cyberghost VPN for almost nothing.

    MBAM Pro
    Hitman Pro

For me, these 3 represent top value for minimal outlay.

    Sandboxie Lifetime
    Mullvad & PRQ - VPN's

    that's it...

    What I "would" purchase:

I did purchase Macrium Reflect Standard, and if you restore to previous images often it's a great product. But I found myself never doing that, and so just used the free version again when the license ran out.

Keyscrambler Premium would be worth it too, IMO, if it actually worked with Firefox these days. I don't need it to be strong enough to prevent malware. I have an AV, hardening and HIPS to do that. I just want the keystroke encryption and nothing more. But sadly it doesn't even seem to do that anymore. It's also supposed to work with Pidgin Messenger, Windows Logon, Open Office & more... all of which I have. So it would be of use to me if it actually worked.

And I think AirVPN, Boleh, and iVPN are all quality VPN's as well, worth spending money on.
