Just as the title says I'll start, previously i owned a feature phone then an S40 and right now an Android. So my vote goes to Android which is my current phone! What about you guys?
Re: What OS does your cellphone has? Nice I got a Samsung Galaxy S II too! You had me with that droid eris, i had to Google it Do you guy run any mods on your android? (Custom roms, flash, etc)
Re: What OS does your cellphone has? Yes, I use a custom ROM/ kernel. I haven't updated in a while - I don't care much.
Re: What OS does your cellphone has? Time to upgrade Once you do, you will have that itchy sensation to tweak your phone again
Re: What OS does your cellphone has? Yeah I have been able to upgrade since November I just haven't gotten around to it.
Re: What OS does your cellphone has? I keep on changing roms but right now i have settled for sensation rom as i love its looks now im not gonna change any rom until a stable ics rom comes out whch maybe very soon and i use siyahkernel ..very good battery life
Re: What OS does your cellphone has? Android 2.3.3 on a Droid 2. Would like to ditch it for Windows Phone on a Lumia 900 or Titan II when they are released. Don't want to switch carriers though.
Re: What OS does your cellphone has? Android on a Samsung Epic. I get bored and change ROMs about twice per week.
Re: What OS does your cellphone has? Well Windows Phones does look tempting but that grid style UI gets boring fast and all of em has the same hardware So as for now, Android FTW! Customization and never ending improvements/development.
Re: What OS does your cellphone has? Androids grid-like sea of dead widgets isn't any better. iOS and Windows Phone are getting never ending improvements, both are getting free major upgrades nearly every year too. The difference is that iOS and WP actually GET the upgrades, Android doesn't. So that statement isn't really correct unless you thinking rooting your phone and making it even more susceptible to malware is a good idea.
Re: What OS does your cellphone has? Currently running Gingerbread 2.3.6 on my Motorola Defy+ work phone. The phone is quite laggy and hangs at times so i've been trying to get CM7 installed to see if that helps but with the locked bootloader it seems to be a little more complicated compared with other handsets i've modded. Its not really my phone of choice but in my line of work being dust and waterproof is a necessity. I have an iphone 4s being delivered to me sometime this century so ios will soon be my personal phone os.
Well, regarding the updates/upgrades it is actually true, now all major mobile OS'es are working their asses off. Regarding the boring part of the UI presentation that is the truth, with Windows your completely locked to the grid style UI and with iOS your all the time in the menu however in Android without any kind of launchers you can modify it to fit your needs although a more fragmented experience (The usual excuse) you do get more customization, if you say otherwise then you're just being anti android
I liked the windows UI its fresh and since its windows its familiar but i wont give up android...u cant customize any other os like android
