What motherboard is the best for dual core or AMD X2?

    In your personal opinion, what motherboard brand can you recommend for the Intel Dual core or AMD X2 platform? :rolleyes: ;) ...that is stable, durable and good performance...and of course not expensive? :argh:

    centrino duo, or core2duo/extreme (plz specify)?

    for decent priced intel dual core motherboard it has to be a intel P35 chipset.
    does it need any perticular functions?
    so something like this link

    i have the upgraded p5k wifi ap which costs around £88

    For a cheap Core 2 mobo, I would try one of these:

    GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3L
    GIGABYTE GA-EP35C-DS3R
    DFI BloodIron P35-T2RL
