thanks for the advise hammer
Its been a while since I use spyshelter, how is it now jmonge?
Added EMET to my setup.
@blasev :it is very fast and when i use the restricted feature it remains fast and light
Nice EAM and OA and EMET should suffice very well.Battle the malware and not each other.Not to little and not to much either a very good balance IMO.
I loved 2.7 and I still like newer versions, but there was something about 2.7 that was like my first love that I will never forget.Thats if alzheimers dont kick in.
Ah. My setup is relatively unchanges and as solid as ever! ..as usual
Only toying with anything new that can prove worthwhile.
You have great, tight setup
Are you using EQsecure, Comodo and PrivateFirewall on single system? If so, how are they running together?
Its no need to change your setup if it solid.
Slightly different setup from the last time I posted in this thread.
* Windows 7 64bit Professional
* DEP, SEHOP enabled through EMET
* COMODO Firewall with D+ enabled, Paranoid Mode
* AVG Free 2012 (On-demand, real time disabled)
* MSE (Real-time)
* Sandboxie 3.70 (All internet-facing programs except for games sandboxed)
* MBAM Pro
* Google Chrome with: AdBlock, FlashBlock, ScriptNo, Ghostery
still happy as a lark with my all 2 favorites.
Yes, it was nice to ESET way up there and hopefully there are just as lucky next time.
Fast is nice
Changed set up to SpyShelter Firewall with internet facing apps running restricted.
new combo WebRo0t 2012 and MBam Pro
Removed KeyScrambler Premium.
I was having slow boot issues and getting some error messages (‘Product key not verified’, 'Encryption module error'), so I emailed support for assistance and he never replied.
This is not the first time he has failed to give support when needed.
A good opportunity to try running without his software, I say.
Since removal, the slow boot issue seems to have disappeared.
After testing for a couple weeks I have decided to make Rising PC Doctor 7 a perm addition to my computers security setup. Its done what I have wanted it to do lightly.
Cloud detection rate is decent (not the best but better then I expected) so we shall see how well they improve with each release.
Still happy with my setups
You can never go wrong with Comodo.
I wouldn't say that.
Then for informative purposes Avira Free Antivirus and Windows Firewall Control (even though I am safe and secure with Sandboxie, I want to know what is going on).
Then for some casual use scanners like Secunia PSI and Hitman Pro are also installed.
Separate names with a comma.
