    If you do a regular search for "find chuck norris" you get a list of sites. Note the URL of the
    site at the top of the list:

    norris_1.gif
    ____________________________________________________

    When you click on "I feel lucky" Google takes you directly to the site that's at the top of the list:

    norris_2.gif
    ____________________________________________________

    If you look at the source code of the main Google page, you see two different URL search parameters (btnG, btnI).
    These are what trigger either a search list or auto-open of the 1st page on the list:

    Code:
    <input name=btnG type=submit value="Google Search">

    <input name=btnI type=submit value="I'm Feeling Lucky">
