What is the speechpack pluggin for ??

    Hi all

    could someone tell me what is the speechpack pluggin for ? I just installed it to see what it could look like but I don't see any changes.

    see if the examples in this thread can add some happiness to your comoputer

    If you would go to the www.microsoft.com/msagent site, you'll see a note about the SAPI4 runtimes for XP users.
    (it's that spchapi.exe you just installed).
    If in your configuration table is no Speech panel yet, get also on the bottom of that msagent download site next to the runtimes the speechpanel download (some 900kb)
    Now in the speechpanel choose the SAPI4 speech engine.
    Now your TDS will speak to you, friendly greetings, scripts, the msagents in the demos will speak, etc.
