See post number 8 here for your currently installed version, if you want to download the latest version 2.12.3 to update what you have, then it is the version that is available on the Nod32 Website

    Hope this helps...

    Cheers :D

That's the same file I downloaded and it's the 2.12.3 version. The file size was 7.28MB. It would have been nice if they could have put a note on the site explaining which version you are downloading.

Hello, each time I quit Nod32 and relaunch the settings have changed to Documents in bottom box. I delete it and put the tick in Local, close down and on it goes. I have re-checked the settings against those of Blackspear and all looks the same, but something somewhere is not well.
How can I get the settings to stick?

    Hi Folks,

The version is 2.12.3 or 2.13 ? Mine is 2.12.3.
I heard http scanning would come set to higher efficiency by default, but 2.12.3 is still set to higher compatibility. Is this correct ?

    Best Regards,

    DonKid.

Hi manOFpeace, can you place a tick against "C Drive", quit and save changes to "My Profile", go back in and see if both C Drive and My Documents are still ticked, if so, then delete the tick from My Documents, quit and save changes.

    Hope this helps...

Let us know how you go.

    Cheers :D

Hello Blackspear, still works out the same. Only other thing is I accidently ticked two Profile boxes on Profiles Tab. I don't know if this will make a difference or not. I do not mind re-installation if that is a cure.
I will await further instructions from you. I appreciate your help. :)
PS. Previous version was OK. Top two Profile boxes were ticked here.

That is what I am going to suggest, also remove the Eset folder found in C Drive> Program Files.

Let us know how you go...

    Cheers :D

    Tosbsas,

2.12.3 installs fine over the top of 2.12.2

First question asked by the installer is whether you want to retain your existing settings. Answer yes, and a couple of seconds later it's all done. It really was that simple :)

Only thing I needed to change manually was the http compatibility for existing programs in IMON to take advantage of the fix in 2.12.3

No, it's not possible to install a patch which will fix the bug, however, I assume it'd be enough to replace imon.dll from a machine running v. 2.12.3

Relief at last  I discovered it only done that when I opened Nod through the "start" button, that was probably the problem yesterday as well.
I did do the clean-up and re-install, the first few times it started off as before, then I noticed on your instructions starting through the control centre. I then seen the light.
    So Blackspear thanks again. ;)
