I can't find much info on Google or Yahoo! Search regarding this file.

According to Ace Utilities.....it is an explorer shell extension associated w/ "Sample View" and is located in WINDOWS/System32.

Anyone have more info about this file and if it's safe to disable?

Visit "fiveanddime.net, shell extension's list." As a quick ref does it match their listing (ver, clsid, size)? Safe to disable? With fdisr snapshot's in place, I don't see why not. Nir Sofer offer's a nice standalone utility for just such exploration's.

On second peek, found this little tug-o-war - http://www.pcguide.com/vb/showthread.php?t=41196
Not sure bm. Listdll's should tell you which process has it loaded.
