What is "Acronis Relogon Authentication Package" for?
I recently bought Acronis True Image 9.1 Workstation. Shortly after the install, my Outpost firwall is alerting me that Acronis True Image is trying to make outbound network connection. What is all this for?

    Hello concerned807,

Please note that "Acronis Relogon Authentication Package" (relog_ap.dll) provides access for the networked shared drives/folders for Acronis True Image 9.1 Workstation Agent and for Acronis Scheduler Manager.

The situation you have experienced with the Firewall is not typical. We have forwarded this issue to Acronis Quality Assurance Team. As soon as our Quality Assurance Team will finish testing it we will let you know the results. As this can take a few days, we apologize in advance for any delay with response.

    Thank you.

    Hello concerned807,

Please accept our apologies for the delay with the response.

Please note that Acronis Quality Assurance Team were not able reproduce this issue.

If you wish to investigate it please Windows System Information as it is described in Acronis Help Post and tell us what is exactly the version of Outpost Firewall you use. Also please make sure you use the latest build (3718 ) of Acronis True Image 9.1 Workstation. You can find the build number in the Help -> About dialog (it should be a 3 or 4 digit number). To get access to updates you should first register your software.

Then submit a request for technical support. Attach all the collected files and information to your request along with the step-by-step description of the actions taken before the problem appears and the link to this thread. We will investigate the problem and try to provide you with the solution.

    Thank you.
