    i have a question,
what will happen if we disable web av in KIS/KAV or imon in nod32?
the reason im asking this quetion is we have real time file antivirus in KAV and amon in nod32 which are real time protections, they scan thru the new files or changed or moved files.if anything comes to the hard drive while surfing they will detect before that thing loads.then what is the purpose of web av of KAV? or imon of nod32 or of any antivirus?

    they are both HTTP scanners.
they are used to block malware at the HTTP level.
a file av cannot block exploits in programs.
    but a HTTP scanner can.
