I went to the Online Armor Forum to sign in, and I was redirected to Emsisoft's forum. I attempted to use my OA forum ID there, and it was not recognized. Do we have to start a new account to log in at Emsisoft's forum or can we use our old OA login ID?

The Online Armor vBulletin support forum is still there and accessible. See this link:

    http://support.online-armor.com/index.php

It has posts made today, one as recently as about 20 minutes ago.

However, the main online-armor.com webpage's "About Us" link to the forum does point to the Emsisoft Forum now, where they have just created a new "Online Armor Firewall" section. You'll need to ask them if they intend to close the old forum in favor of the one on the Emsisoft site.

My guess would be that you'll need to create a new member account to use the Emsisoft since it is an IPB forum and the old one is vBulletin. They could technically merge in the OA forum database, but, it might be messy.

The original OA forum is still up, but the forums are being merged and all new support requests will have to be at the new forum.

And yes I believe you will have to create new credentials on the EMSI forums.

Yes, Peter2150. It has been confirmed. You must register again at the Emsisoft forum.

We've extended the announcement to clarify the process:
