However some points about vendors deceiving people are quite right. You want a minimum security against hackers? use a different computer for online usage and offline one for sensitive works, buy hardware FW, install several honeypots, use monitoring tools , encrypt your datas... if you are targeted, there is no solutions to protect you indefinitely. it is like housebreaking, you don't buy an armored door or security system to fully stop it, you delay it until the police/security staff arrives on site.
