They don't seem to discuss what buying it will give you on their site, or at least I can't find it. The price is reasonable but free is best. If purchasing doesn't give you much then I'll stay with the free version.

    Just thought someone might know.

You may find the IP blocker a hassle, I sure do. I've had it block far more innocent bystanders than anything malicious. That being said, by all accounts it's a great product and I have it running with no issues.

Just thought I'd let you know, I bought this product.

I used coupon KV9-3KX-455 in order to get it for less than $20 US.

    Pretty nice product.

Unfortunately, i have slightly disagree MBAM is worth to buy. Because it seems comsume too many CPU resource(even disabled IP blocking) for a AntiMalware software.:doubt:

Actually, i own KAV2010,NOD32,Bitdefender2010, but i using Avast free in my system because i don't want to slow down my system too much, but however i am quite disappointed after i purchased MBAM. Even i disabled its real time protection the mbamservice.exe still keep spending some CPU resource !!!

It is just a AntiMalware software, it doesn't included firewall function, really don't understand why need so many CPU resource, i think probably is the programming not optimize enough.

Sometimes when i want to reserve CPU time for some very heavy calculation, i will disable many real time program including my network connection, but mbamservice.exe still spending 5%-8% of my CPU resource, maybe it struggle to protect me all the timeo_O Thanks but no necessary.

Perhaps this issue only occur in my computer ?

Except the CPU usage problem, actually MBAM is a great software, update fast, good at get rid of malware, lifelong license is a great offer. I still like it very much.

Maybe after i upgrade my CPU this wouldn't be a problem at all.

I have it running without the IP blocker and its usually around 60K. Not too bad. It has caught alot of things the first time around. OA++ works great but it catchs something only if I ignore MBAM pop-up.

Hello kjdemuth. I agree with you that MBAM is a great software, i think it will gradually improve in future.

BTW i am curious after i saw you signature. You already got OA+, Geswall, MBAM why you still need spyware blaster ?

To be honest I've had that forever even before I started to get into security software. I had that and spybot. Of course I don't run spybot anymore.

Hello EscapeVelocity. Even though i am not work for MBAM, but i still thanks for your kindness and MBAM truly is a good product.

We already see many good product go down already, i hope MBAM, sandboxie, spyshelter,... can sustain otherwise i afraid eventually Symantec will become ours only choice.

It is pity that Process Guard become orphan, but i still using it.

I would not be without it. I am persuaded that MBAM adds security from malware that AVs do not catch.
I have been using it for years, and have not noted any slowdown or adverse impact on the three computers on which it has been installed.

    Regards,
    Jerry
