What does it mean when the windows install/uninstall utility hangs on an unistall?

    What does it mean when the windows install/uninstall utility hangs on an unistall?

    This is for XP Pro

    Look in the Event Viewer for related errors. That would be a place to start.

    Where is the even viewer?:blink:

    Start Menu/Contol Panel/Administrative Tools/Event Viewer.
    Highlight 'System' in the left-hand pane, then look for red 'X'es in the right-hand pane. Double-click any error message to see the info it contains.

    The same procedure for 'Application'.
