The survey took very little time. Feedback is a good thing.

Perhaps you missed the point of this thread.
It's not a poll asking what browser you use or prefer, and there is no Chrome promotion going on here (so no apologies are necessary).
It's simply a thread announcing a survey for those who care to participate.
    I agree. :thumb:

I 've been using Opera for years. They i got tired of crashes and tried Chrome. So much faster. But i am a member of Wilders, so i don't run Chrome. I run SWR Iron.

Terrific. Did you write that in the survey?

It was indeed a very simple, short survey that asked good questions and allowed descriptive feedback.

Absolutely! I appreciate the fact that Google is now actually soliciting feedback. Definitely a good thing. :thumb:

    Thanks, Page!

    Way to go, guys.
That's the idea... tell it to the survey! :D
Whatever your thoughts may be about Chrome, good or bad, this is a fine opportunity to make them known and possibly count.

Best browser around. I just which downloads started in a new tab or a download box. Similar to Firefox. Also make bookmarks easier to access. I hate showing the bookmarks bar so I hide it.

I don't think there would be any other "easier" way in any browser. It's either a long list to scroll through via drop-down menu, or use the bookmark bar and just edit the bookmarks to show icons only (otherwise not much will fit up there.). I kind of like having Chrome downloads in the bottom corner. They're out of the way and there's nothing else to have to close out.

I took the survey. Chrome is a really good browser but lack of native 64 bit support is big drawback. Yet it seems there isn't many choices out there.

The download bar takes up too much real estate.

64bit would be awful nice at this point. I understand at first it had to do with Adobe not making Flash 64bit. Then they did, and still Chrome hasn't released a 64bit version. Though, to be fair, neither has Firefox officially and Mozilla doesn't even have to worry about the problems that may crop up with a built in Flash. I'm not sure what the hold up is these days, but I'm doing just fine with 32bit.

Well, scroll down the page for content the bar might be covering? If it weren't for the buttons at the top, Chrome would practically be blank. To each their own of course, I don't see its current state as an issue :)

Firefox has a separate download box. Or else open downloads in a new tab rather then on the bottom.

I've always used Chrome since its creation. I honestly don't know what might be improved. I found it odd that they didn't ask any feedback about its speed, probably they feel confident it is its best feature.

In a roundabout way, the survey did address speed, as evidenced by the first three selections on this list...

    Chrome survey speed.jpg

But like I say, these were not direct questions such as, "How would you rate Chrome's speed?".

In addition, Osaban, you may not have seen this page, depending on how you answered proceeding questions (forex: have you ever used another browser?). I retook the survey in an effort to find the above page, and once it did not appear. ;)

As a matter of fact I don't remember seeing that page, reading your post I thought how foolish of me to skip a whole page, but you must be right I remember replying that I use only Chrome on my computers.

I didn't finish the survey. I started, but then it eventually started asking questions that assume you continued using it instead of removing it from your machine.

Using a browser that was particularly developed to study my marketing preferences, and feed me ads, doesn't appeal to me at all.
