I have noticed that Cyberscrub 5.1.1 doesn't clean Firefox browsing history.

    What will do the job?

No problems cleaning all Firefox history with CCleaner. Make sure you select a wiping algorithm or it will just delete the entries.

When you're up in Firefox, click View>sidebar>History, and your browsing history is laid out there. Right click Delete.

Thanks for the replies. I omitted "securely" - as in 'beyond recovery'. I know Pleonasm is gonna say 'piffle' but that's why Cyberscrub was used. Erasing 'beyond recovery' evokes emotions akin to 'Global Warming' and some say 'Gutman' and others mumble 'Schmuckman' but that's the question - sorry.

I have tried using this with FF and I found that each time I told it to whack the cache, history, cookies etc, it also whacked my bookmarks.

Version dependent? (I was not using 3.5.* at the time - am now though).

Still, not an issue though as I was able to manually hit the cache with R-Wipe and Clean and then just insecurely delete the rest.

Will have a look at CC as well :)
