I am using AIMP3
What are y'all running?
foobar 2000 for me is the best, easy, full of features, light. Customizable gui if you want (i prefer the standard), with a lot of plugin as Kernel streaming, asio ...
Windows Media Player and VLC Media Player Portable.
it's the only one amongst all the ones i have tried where the built-in plugins (especially Crystalizer and Extra Stereo) really makes a good difference on the sound.
i set Crystalizer to 0.5, Extra Stereo to 1.5
i might turn off Crystalizer once in awhile, depending on how 'hot' the high freqs are on a specific album.
The one that whips the llama's ~ Snipped as per TOS ~!
worst program on earth! that's the main reason I dont buy an iPhone or iPad is because you need to take an online training course just to be able to use the darn thing! copying an MP3 from your computer to the iPhone or iPad is like re-inventing the wheel
Also don't forget that when you install iTunes, it install the silent Bonjour Virus that is always running on your computer, collecting usage data, and sending it to apple + slowing your computer down drastically!
JetAudio Plus -
plays audio and video files of nearly all sorts,
alters pitch and speed independently (which sound nice enough)
and supports bookmarks and resume play.
Those features are important for me for an all-in-one, casual player.
for archiving, maintaining and listening to my music collection exclusively -
it's really powerful, well-rounded software.
foobar2000 since version 0.8.2.
Winamp Lite for audio.
VLC for video.
Winamp Pro, JetAudio Plus
On android also these two.
I'm glad you folks started this thread, because it reminded me I never kept track of the development of Stoffi Music Player... I'm going to download the most recent version (stable/beta) and see how it's going.
I mentioned this music player in another thread, maybe earlier this year or end of the last year... I think.
