Could be useful, haven't tried yet (using FF 3.6.25 & Pale Moon 3.6.29) :

Anyone knows an addon that "expands/displays" the personas themes to below the adress field when pressing a "new tab" button?

i tried NoScript a few years ago and hated it to no end.
now, i would not want to surf without it.

the way i like to use it is to keep the Whitelist almost bare and just temporarily allow pages/sites on the fly.
very convenient because your permanent Whitelist is not modified.

i tried NotScript and ScriptNo but i think NoScript does a much better job.

Its two main features appear to be:

    1) Scheduling the sending of email through your Gmail account

Based on just a very brief look, it sounds to me as though a RightInbox server would receive OAuth information for your Gmail account and email message IDs so that at the scheduled time it can command your Gmail account to send those emails. I'm not familiar with RightInbox's exact design or for that matter the strengths & weaknesses of OAuth. However, I would point out that providing another entity with even limited access to one of your online accounts is a potentially dangerous thing from both a security and privacy point of view. If this solution appeals to you, I would suggest you study the details and think things through very carefully before using.

    2) Email read tracking and also emailed link click tracking

Based on just a very brief look, I suspect the email itself as well as links are "web bugged" so the recipient's browser or email client will report the read/clicks to a RightInbox server which in turn sends the activity report to the email originator. Note: doing such a thing without the recipient's express consent before hand demonstrates that the sender of the email is not respectful of the recipient. I would be very selective about its use.

I tried Abine's DNT+ as it works quite well on Chrome/Iron. Unfortunately it just didn't work well on Fx at all. It probably actually does block trackers, but the GUI button wouldn't open for me & was totally unresponsive. I eventually uninstalled it.

Has anyone had anything similar with this extension?

I've been using in for months with no issues. Might be conflicting with another addon.

Yes, I have a feeling it is. I don't really need it anyway. I may investigate it at a later date when I'm feeling a little less lazy. ;)

It works well on Chrome though, I prefer it to Ghostery these days.

Not a Must Have but it's coming along quite nicely: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/pdfjs/
The main thing I miss is that it currently cannot open password-protected files. But once I unlock pdf files permanently using qpdf, they can subsequently by opened with pdf.js.

I thought I would post this in case anyone else tries Abine & has any problems with it.

Regarding Abine's DNT+ for Fx, I have finally managed to convince it to work on a Portable Apps Firefox version.

I had problems before & thought it may be some conflict with another extension, however, I have discovered a probable reason why it would not open properly when clicked on. I had moved it on the GUI in 'Customise' mode to be to the left of WOT, which I normally prefer to be at the extreme right of the GUI.

I am not running WOT (or NoScript) on the portable & installed DNT+ primarily as a way of speeding page loading. I would normally have used Ghostery, which is probably more effective, but I have stopped using that for a variety of reasons.

When DNT+ installs it places itself to the extreme right of the GUI. If not moved, it should work. I think the Abine guys should take note of this 'bug' because they have a relatively decent alternative to Ghostery with DNT+ IMO.

I had a screenshot, but I think that gremlins ate it. o_O
